You may have missed it on Friday night, but Amanda Serrano earned a narrow victory over Argentina’s Lucrecia Manzur in an event in Temecula, California.
According to reports, the event drew over 3 million views on TikTok. The social media platform streamed the whole event. It was the first time that TikTok aired a live boxing event.
Previously, Serrano’s most notable fights occurred on Netflix. A trilogy with Katie Taylor drew astronomical viewership from Netflix subscribers. An average of 6 million viewers watched the third fight between the two in July 2025.
The move to TikTok seems curious considering the hefty viewership numbers Serrano has pulled. Moreover, the production of the TikTok event left a lot to be desired as it was more social media fandom than actual boxing analysis when the fights began. But, one might think that this first foray into the social media platform might mean more partnerships between combat sports and TikTok.
