Casting call: White House seeks “fit” military for UFC White House event

May 29, 2026 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The Washington Post and NBC News among other outlets are reporting the the Department of Defense are seeking out military that meet a certain physical criteria to attend the UFC White House event on June 14th.

A Pentagon memo indicates requirements for military. Any uniformed military member across the world can apply for tickets. While the tickets would be free, it does not include travel costs.

There will be 4,000 people in attendance. Its been reported that TKO CEO Ari Emmanuel and Dana White would have 200 tickets each and the president will have 1,000 tickets to distribute. There are also hefty pay packages costing over $1M for those wanting access to attend the fight on the South Lawn of the White House.

Payout Perspective:

The requirements of military to meet a certain look to attend the event is right up the alley of this administration. Faux masculinity. Instead of allowing military to attend, there are reservations on who may attend. It falls in line with Dana White and his recent comments that men should not talking about mental health issues in public, rather doing it behind closed doors. People can see this as not genuine and superficial. While no one in the UFC or Trump circle will point this out, it is quite clear to any observer.
