The press release indicates it averaged 2.809 million viewers. Programming Insider notes that it had the second-highest viewership share in the Men 18-49 division only to the World Baseball Classic featuring the US taking on Mexico. In addition, the NBA on ABC featuring Golden State and OKC were on at the same time. NBC ran the Winter Paralympics.

The telecast which featured both prelim and main card fights peaked with 3.207 million viewers.

The main card scored higher in terms of viewership versus the last hour of the prelims. The press release reflects a huge boost in linear viewership. Last year’s average was only 661K viewers (presumably on ESPN).
