UFC 316 PPV Prelims score 1.1M viewers

The UFC 316 PPV Prelims drew an overall viewership of 1.1M viewers on ESPN. The telecast was 3rd overall in prime time viewership per Programming Insider.

The event taking place in Newark, New Jersey drew 0.39 in the A18-49 demo (~522K viewers) which made it 3rd overall in the category next to the MLB regional baseball featuring the Yankees-Red Sox game on Fox. The telecast was 3rd overall in the A25-54 demo drawing 0.44 (~547K viewers).

The prelims featured rising star Joshua Van as he impressed yet again by stopping Bruno Silva in the 3rd round. The Burmese American flyweight is on a 4 fight win streak.
