Getty Images and WWE agree to sponsor deal

April 9, 2025 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

WWE and Getty Images have entered into a deal which makes the company the Worldwide Photographic Licensing Partner of the WWE.

As part of the deal, Getty Images will have access to archival footage from past WWE events available to license. Getty Images will have the exclusive right to distribute and license WWE footage for editorial and commercial uses through its web site.

This is a big deal with the company licensing its likenesses to third parties for commercial opportunities. As the company heads into Wrestlemania, there will be more opportunities from companies seeking to license WWE content.
