PBC on Fox draws 981,000 viewers, PBC Prelims drew 362,000 on FS1

March 3, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

PBC on Fox drew 981,000 viewers on Saturday night.  The prelims which aired on FS1 prior to the main telecast drew 362,000 viewers per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.

PBC on Fox drew 271,000 viewers in the A18-49 demo and drew a household rating of 0.63.  The prelims drew 94,000 viewers in the A18-49 demo and a 0.22 household rating.

The main event featured Anthony Dirrell and Kyrone Davis battling to a draw.  The overrun reflects the fact that the Dirrell-Davis matchup drew a lot of viewers as the fast nationals reflected an 820,000 viewer average over the two hour telecast.

Payout Perspective:

The prelims are a far cry from the 2021 high of last month which drew 871,000 viewers on FS1. But the ratings average is a pleasant surprise considering the first hour was very low.  Fortunately, it appears that the ratings went up dramatically in the last 45 minutes of the overall telecast.

Yes, the Pulitzer-winning journalist is the source we should ignore, not the people who continue to want access to the LA sports team they cover. This was a dumb thing to think and an even dumber thing to tweet.
