Bellator ratings on Paramount from this weekend

Bellator MMA Live 239 drew 296,000 viewers on The Paramount Network Friday night according to Nielsen per ShowBuzz Daily.  On Saturday, a tape-delayed show from Dublin, Ireland drew 310,000 viewers.    

On Friday from Thackervill, Oklahoma, the event featured Yaroslov Amasov defeating Ed Ruth to move to 23-0 professionally. Also, in the co-featured Timothy Johnson knocked out promising heavyweight prospect Tyrell Fortune. 

The Saturday event featured Brent Primus as he defeated Chris Bunguard. 

The event aired Saturday night opposite the big Wilder-Fury fight.  The

The last time Bellator was on The Paramount Network for its Japan show featuring Rampage Jackson and Fedor Emelianenko.  The event drew 311,000.

Payout Perspective:

Saturday’s tape-delayed show fared well against the Wilder-Fury 2 prelims which aired on ESPN2 and FS1.  The ESPN feed drew 862,000 viewers while the FS1 showing drew 441,000.  Friday’s event aired on DAZN which may have detracted viewers from the linear offering.

I should point out that according to those at TKO that the ESPN/MVPW boxing deal is a revenue sharing agreement similar to the original AEW/Turner deal in 2019 and not a full paying media rights deal which Top Rank had and wasn't renewed.
