Henderson receives NASCAR raceway sponsorship

August 24, 2013 by Jason Cruz 16 Comments

The Phoenix International Raceway has announced that it will sponsor Benson Henderson in title defense against Anthony Pettis on August 31st. Henderson will wear the PIR logo on his walkout shirt and on his banner.

Henderson will also serve as an honorary pace car driver for the track at the National Sprint Cup Series in November 10th.

Via PIR’s web site:

We are truly delighted to be supporting Benson Henderson in his upcoming title fight,” said [Phoenix International Raceway president Bryan R.] Sperber. “Having a local Champion represented PIR in this important bout will be an exciting moment for all our NASCAR fans across the valley and around the state.”

Payout Perspective:

A good local tie in for PIR which has tapped Dominick Cruz and Anderson Silva in the past. Henderson is a Phoenix area resident and his name recognition should help draw interest to its November event. Its MMA sponsorship should get some good sponsor airtime as Henderson will be in the main event at UFC 164.

His comments are a distraction and take away from the articles these guys put out. He should get his ass banned. Every article is followed by negative, biased, and often unrelated ignorant comments by Dumb, Dumber, and Dumbest, the Three Stooges of MMA Payout.

Even worse is any new reader or even long time reader who ever decides to contribute and comment on an article would be attacked by you fools. Im sure there are many readers who don’t want to be dragged into the mess and stay silent or stop coming here.

What Tops doesnt understand is nobody cares if you hate on the UFC, you have that right, just stick to the topic.

This article and this site have nothing to do with boxing yet all you do is come here, shit on the UFC, ignore what the actual article is about and then post random boxing info and then take stabs at mma.

If the article is UFC xxx does shit buys then smash the UFC for doing low buys or low ratings. Just stick to what the article is about.

Maybe this happens but do mma fans do that on boxing sites? Like does anyone go on Bad Left Hook and in an article about a fight being announced do mma trolls post

GB Boxing on FS1 did 20k more viewers than an old UFC unleashed. So basically an old unleashed episode with Wandy/Franklin did about the same number as a live boxing event. LOL, hahahah boxing sucks.

Do fans do that? cause if they do they are pathetic.

Why are you crying Chris? Hahaha…funny thing is when Chang (dunno if your related lol) puts boxing numbers that are extremely low in this website…you and b.s. don’t react at all…..you don’t get pissed at him you don’t complain why he’s posts boxing numbers here etc….etc…

You just want everybody to be a ufc fanboy dana diciple and everybody should just hear comments that you want to hear….of course.you don’t want to hear 200k people watching boxing in Russia…..
