March 28, 2026 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC Fight Night took place at Climate Pledge Arena on Saturday afternoon and handed out 7 bonuses for the event including the main event winner, Joe Pyfer.

Pyfer continues to climb the middleweight ranks. He improved his resume with a KO of former champ Israel Adesanya. For his win, Pyfer received a $100K bonus. In addition, Alexa Grasso earned a $100K bonus for a stunning KO of Maycee Barber in which she spun her around on a solid punch and locked in a rear-naked choke. The submission was not needed as Barber was out and lay motionless on the canvas after the fight. Barber appeared to recover after several minutes.

The Fight of the Night went to Tofiq Musayev and Ignacio Bahamondes. The battle between the two brought a lot of blood and some controversy with some apparent fouls by Musayev that were not called by the ref. In the end it was Musayev that earned the victory.

Yes, the Pulitzer-winning journalist is the source we should ignore, not the people who continue to want access to the LA sports team they cover. This was a dumb thing to think and an even dumber thing to tweet.
