Rampage stars in Reebok Commercial

July 17, 2013 by Jason Cruz 11 Comments

Bellator/TNA’s Rampage Jackson appears in a Reebok commercial with Dallas Cowboys Defensive End DeMarcus Ware.  Jackson and Ware are promoting Reebok’s newest line of training shoes.

The video shows the two jogging off-road in their Reebok ATV 19 running shoes when they come across some unexpected obstacles.

Payout Perspective:

As you recall, Jackson came across issues with the UFC as he was not allowed to wear Reebok in the Octagon.  Ironically, the UFC and Reebok were in talks several months ago about a possible sponsorship deal.  The commercial shows that Jackson can be a marketable mainstream athlete which should help Bellator/TNA.

Though the UFC platform is also a good way to get your brand out there – GSP, Jones and Silva seem to be doing OK with the sponsors.

Of course Rampage looks fat and out of shape. really makes MMA look good when Ware shows up like a true professional.

Rampage has been in countless wars. His body has got to be really worn down. The dude can look anyway he wants and it wouldn’t diminish who he is or what he has done.

John madden represented nfl stars. Dan gable was decrepit and still the wrestling God. it is juvenile to write off soneones accomplishments based on their current physique.mark hunt also comes to mind.

Hunt has always been the same. The other guys are old. Rampage used to be In shape. It’s not so much his physique. But the fact he has always been a lazy fighter and now has got to the point he does t even try while at the same time thinks everyone should kiss his ass. He wanted sponsors and now when he gets one. He can’t even show up on respectable shape. It looked like he needed a stunt double for the running scenes.
