TUF 16 episode 11: 804,000 viewers

December 4, 2012 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

MMA Junkie reports that the 11th episode of TUF 16 drew a 804,000 viewer average.  Television By Numbers reports it received a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 age demo.

TUF 16 Episode 1: 947,000

TUF 16 Episode 2: 872,000

TUF 16 Episode 3: 775,000

TUF 16 Episode 4: 1.1 million

TUF 16 Episode 5: 624,000

TUF 16 Episode 6:  811,000

TUF 16 Episode 7:  676,000

TUF 16 Episode 8: 1.1 million

TUF 16 Episode 9: 921,000

TUF 16 Episode 10:  643,000 viewers

TUF 16 Episode 11:  804,000 viewers

Payout Perspective:

Random comparison:  Episode 11 on Friday night bested the MLS Cup on Saturday afternoon on ESPN as the final for Beckham received only 797,000 viewers.  (via John Ourand of the SBJ).  But, as Ourand points out, that’s about the same rating as a rerun of the old CBS show, “Yes Dear,” airing on Nick at 5:00am on a Wednesday.

With the news that TUF is moving to Tuesdays for season 17, will it help the series?  The ratings this season have been disappointing if compared to prior seasons.  It will be interesting to see if the last episodes will receive a bump going into the TUF Finale.  But with another failed attempt at having the coaches fight each other, this season may end up ending its Friday runs quietly.

The us number for the McGregor show was 6.1. Milllion. White House show was 7 million. Rousey fight was just over 9. But Netflix has a big advantage in homes.
