TUF 16 episode 4: 1.1 million viewers

October 8, 2012 by Jason Cruz 2 Comments

MMA Junkie reports that the fourth episode of TUF 16 bounced back from an all-time low to a 1.1 million viewer average.  Television By Numbers indicates it received a 0.6 rating for the key 18-49 demographic.

The ratings reflects a 42% increase from last Friday’s 775,000 average.

TUF 16 Episode 1: 947,000

TUF 16 Episode 2: 872,000

TUF 16 Episode 3:  775,000

In addition, the UFC on FX 5 which preceded TUF scored an almost identical rating with a 1.084 million viewer average for a 0.6 rating amongst adults 18-49 (via TV By the Numbers).

Payout Perspective:

The UFC on FX 5 likely helped the ratings this week.  The ratings show that there are still people out there interested into tuning into TUF.  It’s a matter of keeping the audience coming back each week that is the problem.  As for the UFC on FX 5 telecast, it is the lowest out of the UFC on FX live events although it’s likely that the 1.084 million number will be rounded up to 1.1 million which would tie it with UFC on FX 3.

UFC on FX 1:  1.3 million
UFC on FX 2:  1.4 million
UFC on FX 3:  1.1 million
UFC on FX 4:  1.3 million
