Payout Perspective:

And the season ends with a slight rebound.  Unfortunately for Zuffa, TUF Live didn’t catch on this season as it had hoped.  Unlike Bellator, there was no positive trend to end its season.  In fact, TUF Live hit an all-time low twice this season.  We will see what Zuffa has in store with TUF Live for the future.

I’m pretty much on every TUF topic saying the UFC should scrap it. Just because I owned your ass on another topic doesn’t mean I don’t give the UFC Their just criticism.

There’s too much MMA available to me for me to care about some reality TV show guys. And let’s face it, we haven’t had anyone of championship caliber come out of TUF for a while. If TUF were a true proving ground for the future elite I might tune in, but it’s just not relevant anymore.

Also solar flares and the Greek crisis.

Once again, not a very good figure.

BFC looking poised to make some big noise next year with established stars past their prime that still hold weight. Rampage, King Mo, Mayhem, etc… UFC is gonna have a good competitor on their hands.

I dont think the UFC ever intended for TUF to produce great fighters. Early on there was always that chance of getting lucky but they never really put their best prospects on the show. To date i think the best fighter to ever come from TUF is Josh Koscheck. There have been some who have done better at a curtain point but that was due to match making and handling. Forrest got a title for a short time but was never really a great fighter. But got the right fights at the right time. Sanchez had a good run too but was never able to stay consistantly at a high level like Koscheck has. But over the years the UFC has been in the possession of many great prospects that they knew had tons of potential, much more than anyone ever put on TUF. They choose not to use TUF which i believe is a smart thing idea because TUF with the situations fighters are put into causes it to be a crap shoot on who wins and as we have seen recently the guys who do well with new trainers, out of their envirnment, no “supplements”, no family, no 3 month training camps, no peaking, etc are not the ones who are the best under normal training situations. So guys like Santos, Valazquez, Edgar, Rory MacDonald, Aldo, etc none of the best prospects or UFC new comers have been put on TUF.
