MMA Junkie reports that the UFC Prelims for UFC 133 scored an average of 1.4 million viewers. It earned a 1.0 rating and was the highest rated show on Saturday among key demos of men 18-49 and 18-34.
The UFC Prelims featured Chad Mendes defeating Rani Yahya and Alexander Gustafsson knocked out Matt Hammill. The match proved to be Hammill’s last as he announced his retirement after the loss.
Payout Perspective:
The numbers fall in the middle of the ratings for UFC Prelims on Spike TV. According to Meltzer, the prelims peaked at 1.44 million during the Gustafsson match. The Mendes match scored a 1.41.
