Strikeforce Fighters Appear on MTV2’s “Rock N Jock”

March 12, 2010 by Kelsey Philpott Leave a Comment

Strikeforce fighters Gilbert Melendez, Jason Miller, Mo Lawal, Miesha Tate, and Luke Rockhold will be appearing on MTV2’s “Rock N Jock” music video show this week to help count down the videos and discuss MMA.

The STRIKEFORCE stars will be featured in this week’s all new episode of “Rock N Jock” on MTV2, counting down the week’s top 5 rock videos as well as talking with and teaching host “Dirty” their mixed martial arts (MMA) tactics this Saturday, March 13 at 11 a.m. ET / 8 a.m. PT.

Tune in this Saturday to learn the art of the staredown, how to cut weight before a fight, the coolest thing the fighters have bought with their prize money, crazy MMA groupie stories and much more.

The MMA stars will also give their music video picks, reveal the worst injuries they’ve suffered in the cage and share their battle scars.

Payout Perspective:

Every little bit of promotion helps and this is certainly a show that will target the proper demographic for Strikeforce. The key here is that the fighters are introduced as being Strikeforce fighters, their up-coming fights are discussed, and information is provided so that viewers can follow up on their interest if they so choose.
