WEC Announces Sponsorship Agreement with Musclepharm

Las Vegas, NV (USA) – World Extreme Cagefighting® announced today that MusclePharm will serve as the organization’s Official Sports Nutrition Company for 2010. MusclePharm’s commitment to athletes, in particular mixed martial artists, made the partnership attractive to WEC officials.

Interesting - in the early 2000s, HBO had to defend "de facto" promoter allegations in front of Congress. If DAZN uses licensed promoters to organize the fights, it's hard to call them a "promoter." SRL signed deals with ABC and HBO without having a promoter, so it's been done.
