Big Nog dances in Honda commercial

November 30, 2012 by Jason Cruz 6 Comments

Antonio Rodrigo Noguiera stars in a Brazilian Honda commercial which has Big Nog dancing.  Via MMA Fighting, the commercial has Noguiera apparently playing himself but out of character.

Payout Perspective:

If anyone can interpret what is being said, it may help shed some light on what is going on.  It appears as though the mild-mannered man is wondering what his idol, Bog Nog would do.  Not sure that explains the lotion on the hands.   The Honda commercial is another sign that MMA is mainstream in Brazil and it also give Noguiera a chance to do something out of the ordinary (we assume this is not ordinary for Big Nog).   It also shows the popularity of Noguiera in Brazil.

1.] GSP reportedly earns $8M per fight
2.] GSP makes $15M per year from sponsors…

    Interesting note:

GSP camp requests $50M for Silva fight…

LOL. No way GSP makes that much per year from sponsors. Even if he did fight more than 1 time per year. The UFC would be lucky to make 50 million off that fight. GSP is to scared to fight Silva. He used to talk about it all the time then when he started losing a step he back peddled away from it. No worries. His problems will be all over when Hendricks knocks him out. I have been saying so before Hendricks knocked Fitch out. Its a horrible match up for GSP. Hendricks will be the new WW champ and GSp will not have to fight Silva.

I think the $15M per year in sponsorships sounds high… but 15 is the number i’m hearing…

    Also,

Even ” asking” for $50M for an MMA fight is stunning…

I don’t think GSP’s camp will get anywhere near that…

    .

“I have not been informed of this, it is not true,” said St-Pierre, during a radio interview with 98.5 FM. “Nobody told me about it and I am in France now. I have not seen the article. I will not comment.”
