GGG PPV draws 150K estimated PPV buys

Early estimates of the Gennady Golovkin-David Lemieux PPV this past Saturday drew approximately 150,000 buys.  Sports Illustrated boxing writer Chris Mannix stated that the 150,000 estimated was “in the ballpark” of the estimated buys. HBO, Showtime boxing events produce uninspired ratings

Dan Rafael of ESPN reports that Saturday night’s boxing events on HBO and Showtime were down based on ratings from Nielsen Media Research. HBO’s event drew an overall average of 663,000 subscribers for the live event.  Showtime’s event, which aired at about the same time as HBO’s event drew an overall average of 400,000 subscribers. Roc Nation sued by boxing promoters

ESPN reports that boxing promoters for former junior middleweight world titleholder Demetrius Andrade have filed a lawsuit against Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports in New York. I should point out that according to those at TKO that the ESPN/MVPW boxing deal is a revenue sharing agreement similar to the original AEW/Turner deal in 2019 and not a full paying media rights deal which Top Rank had and wasn't renewed.
