Jake Paul announces next fight

October 29, 2026 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Jake Paul announced that he would be returning to the boxing ring on December 24th in Abu Dhabi. The opponent has yet to be announced.

The last time we saw Paul in the ring he fought Anthony Joshua in December 2025. In that fight, Joshua broke Paul’s jaw.

Paul will headline a Most Valuable Promotions card.

The lack of an opponent at this point reflects the assumption, whether right or wrong, that Paul can carry a card on name recognition alone. It’s a bold move to hold a card at a time when people will be with their families and doing other activities aside from watching boxing. If you are optimistic, perhaps the slowdown during the holidays allow casual fans to watch Paul fight someone before opening the presents.

Speaking up can cost pro surfers. A World Surf League rule warns of expulsion & fines if surfers say anything that casts the league — or the sport — in a negative light. Experts say the policy is problematic. Surfers say it adds to culture of silence.
