TKO announced its latest location deal. This time with Western Australia as the company announced a three-year agreement that will have Perth the host of WWE Weekend Takeovers featuring a Premium Live Event from 2026 through 2028.
The partnership starts this December as it will host WWE Smackdown on Friday, then WWE’s PLE Wrestlepalooza followed by a Monday Night Raw.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. But, the deal builds upon the WWE’s knack for finding international locations to pay them and hold PLEs. Aside from Saudi Arabia, it has been paid to place PLEs in Berlin and Lyon in 2024 and Paris in 2025. This past May, it held WWE Clash in Italy.
WWE held its Crown Jewel event in Perth in 2025. Notably, Rhea Ripley and Bronson Reed are from the region and are wildly popular with the fans.
With both currently sidelined, the hope would be the both would at least appear when the company heads to the region.
The UFC has held events in Perth with the last being this past May.
