The UFC officially announced the location for its Mexican Independence Day card for Saturday, September 12th. The company announced that Noche UFC will take place in Glendale, Arizona.
In its short-lived celebration of Mexican Independence Day, the UFC held the memorable UFC Noche at The Sphere. The event, in September 2024, drew a huge gate of $22M which was a record in Nevada until UFC 329 earlier this month.
Zuffa Boxing will be holding its first big event of its organization in Las Vegas on September 12. Instead of having competing events in the same town, TKO decided to move the UFC event to Glendale, Arizona. No word on the event’s main event but MPO will continue to monitor.
According to the press release, “NOCHE UFC will be the first of seven high-profile live events in Arizona over the next three years through TKO’s landmark partnership with the Arizona Sports & Events Alliance.”
