The UFC held a Fight Night at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City Saturday night. The event saw the main event draw the Fight of the Night.
Dricus Du Plessis and Kamaru Usman earned Fight of the Night drawing $100K each for their efforts. DDP dominated the 5-round fight and although Usman protested the decision, there was no way the former welterweight champ won the fight. Perhaps he protested the dominant 5 rounds for DDP, but even if the judges were to give him a round DDP used his striking and grappling to outpoint the past-his-prime Usman.
Felipe Franco earned a $100K Performance Bonus in his second fight in the UFC. He earned a second-round TKO defeating Levi Rodrigues in the light heavyweight division.
Tommy McMillen earned a $100K Performance Bonus when he defeated Alberto Montes in featherweight matchup. McMillen set the promotional record for significant strikes as he stopped Montes in the third round.
The $25K finish winners went to Dione Barbosa and R.J. Harris for their stoppages.
