Tyson-Mayweather moved to fall

May 22, 2026 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The exhibition between Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather is being postponed yet again. This time, due to a Tyson broken hand, the fight is being moved to the fall.

The fight, which was originally scheduled for the Congo in April, was moved without much notice from the press. It was rescheduled to the spring and now is being moved once again to the fall. One would expect that if this fight were occurring in the fall it would happen somewhere in North America.

Mayweather is still scheduled to fight an exhibition in Greece. He also is tentatively slated to fight Manny Pacquiao in late September.

Mayweather’s schedule in 2026 is full due in part to the the alleged issues he has had with finances. Notably, he’s filed a lawsuit against Showtime and recently filed one against former business partners for alleged fraud.

Will this fight actually happen? My prediction is that it doesn’t occur. While many boxing fans adore Tyson. He’s not the same boxer that they grew up with and its clear that the wear and tear of training is getting to his body. As for Mayweather, one might suggest he’s in need of money and that is why he’s busier than ever.

We will see if Mayweather can have 3 fights in the same year at the age of 49.

Wait, is this for real? Trump spent $60 million of our taxpayer funds to host a UFC fight and then is selling UFC coin to line his family’s pockets. The Trump corruption swamp is a mile deep.
