Rousey-Carano produce huge viewership numbers

Netflix revealed that 17 million global viewers tuned in Saturday to watch the return of Ronda Rousey as she defeated Gina Carano on Netflix. According to the streaming company, the event averaged 12.4 million viewers across the 3 main event figths.

In addition to the very short fight between Rousey-Carano the other two main events included Mike Perry stopping Nate Diaz and Francis Ngannou knocking out Philippe Lins. Netflix factored these three fights in with this announcement although the main card consisted of several more fights.

Notwithstanding, Rousey’s goal of surpassing 9 million fans watching their fight has come to fruition.
