MVP rounds out May 16th MMA card on Netflix

March 24, 2026 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Most Valuable Promotions announced more fights for the May 16th Ronda Rousey-Gina Carano Netflix card. There were a lot of names that many MMA fans will remember.

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos will fight Karate Combat champion Rogelis Despaigne. Also, undefeated flyweight Muhammad Mokaev (former UFC fighter) takes on former ONE champion Adriano Moraes. The other fight of note is a fight between MMA veterans Lorenz Larkin and Jason Jackson.

Ronda Rousey sent out a tweet promoting the card as well as revealing that tickets start at $88 which is a bargain if you compare the price for current UFC shows.

This is what happens when fighters come together and bet on themselves – change is coming, we are not expendable –
WE ARE THIS BUSINESS!!
This is a fight card for EVERYONE, tickets start at just $88 @intuitdome!!!

Payout Perspective:

The card brings back some names from the past. Also, it has Muhammad Mokaev who was unceremoniously dropped from the UFC despite an undefeated record. Mokaev may have been one fight away from a title shot against Alexandre Pantoja but due to his wrestling-based style the UFC decided not to pursue an extension of his contract after a win over Manel Kape in July 2024.
