Georges St-Pierre will get a film biography according to a story from Variety on Tuesday. Quebec director Thomas Soto is attached to the project which will highlight the upbringing of the former
The film will chronicle the life of GSP growing up in Saint-Isidore, Quebec and his foray in martial arts and into the UFC. According to the report, the filmmakers want to “reveal Georges, the man.”
“I want to tell the story of Georges behind GSP in a way that feels intimate, honest and deeply human,” Soto said in a statement. The director is a Rising Star Award nomination from the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. A Canadian team of producers are also on the project.

No word on a projected timeline for completion since this was just announced. GSP is represented by CAA which likely sought out the business to sell his story.
