Zuffa Boxing signs deal with Sky Sports in UK

Zuffa boxing announced another media deal signing securing viewership in the United Kingdom.

Sky executive Johnathan Licht issued a statement on the new deal:

“Zuffa Boxing has exciting plans for the sport, and we share that same ambition when it comes to putting on the best fights for our customers. We look forward to a new era where we’ll use our platform to both build stars and showcase elite boxing talent here in the UK and internationally.”

The monetary terms of the deal were not disclosed although the statement indicated that it was for multiple years. Furthermore, there were no announcements on if and when Zuffa Boxing would be heading to the region.

Zuffa Boxing’s first event on Sky Sports will be an event on April 5th. Thus far, the promotion has held four events all at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas.
