Nate Diaz returns on Rousey-Carano undercard

March 16, 2026 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Netflix announced on Monday that MVP Promotions is adding Nate Diaz against Mike Perry as part of the Ronda Rousey-Gina Carano event on May 16th. The fight will be the first for Diaz in pro MMA since his departure from the UFC in September 2022.

Last week, the promotion headed by Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul announced the return of Francis Ngannou to MMA as he will fight Philipe Lins. Now, Diaz will face former UFC welterweight Mike Perry who has found a renewed career fighting in BKFC.

Payout Perspective:

Another big name returns for this May 16th card which Ronda Rousey has taken personal when it comes to an artificial competition with the White House card. Rousey called out Dana’s White House card alleging he knows it sucks. Rumors are that she was not happy with her exit and blames it on Hunter Campbell. Regardless, the competition is good for the MMA viewer. These fighters are not what they used to be but have the star power to put on an event many Netflix subscribers will want to see.
