White House card announced

March 7, 2026 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The UFC announced the long awaited and much-hype White House card taking place at the White House on Sunday, June 14th.

Ilia Topuria returns to fight Justin Gaethje as the Spaniard returns to defend his lightweight title. In addition, Alex Pereira takes on Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight title.

The card is dubbed, “UFC 250: Freedom” with Topuria and Gaethje at the top of the card.

While the card featured some quality fights, it does not correlate with the amount of hype that was associated with it. It’s been almost 9 months of speculating on who would be on the card and if we would see the return of Conor McGregor and Jon Jones. Instead, we get a very good main event and co-main but nothing that stands out. Certainly, a nice card, but is it worth the $60M that the UFC is shelling out for the event? Will we really see 100,000 people gravitate to the nation’s mall to watch this event?
