UFC Apex gets new name

January 14, 2026 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Apex events will continue in 2026. But under a new name.

The Las Vegas, Nevada complex which houses mostly UFC events, and Zuffa Boxing this year, will be operating under the Meta Apex. Dana announced the name change on Wednesday as part of a 5-year naming rights deal with the Mark Zuckerberg company.

The Meta deal with the UFC was announced last year. Zuckerberg is a big UFC fan and last year added White onto its board of directors.

In addition, the Meta Apex will come with an expansion of the venue to include tickets for fans to attend. Notably, there was a report last summer that the Apex would be expanding. White shouted down this report as being untrue.

Welp, looks like it was true, they just didn’t want to let you know just yet.

So, the venue will be known as the Meta Apex. How much the naming deal is has not been disclosed. In my opinion, whatever price Zuckerberg paid, it was an overpay but for the fact that he’s a big fan. It does help Meta in some respects with branding. Also, this might clue us in into how many events will be held this year at a smaller venue.
