UFC Seattle gets a main event

January 13, 2026 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Dana White took to his IG Live to announce the main event for UFC Fight Night Seattle on Saturday, March 28th. The main event will feature former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya taking on Joe Pyfer.

In addition, White announced (presumably) the co-main event with Alexa Grasso taking on Maycee Barber in a battle of women flyweights.

Adesanya last fought February 1, 2025, in a loss to Nassourdine Imavov. Thus, he will have had over 1 year off since his last UFC fight. Pyfer is on a 3 fight winning streak with his last fight a submission victory over Abus Magomedov.

Barber fought last month winning a unanimous decision over Karine Silva. Grasso is on a two fight losing streak and has not won since she took the title from Valentina Shevchenko in March 2023.
