White announces main event for inaugural Zuffa Boxing show

Dana White announced the main event for the inaugural Zuffa Boxing show set for Friday, January 23rd.

Interviewed by Stephen A. Smith on his show, White announced that Callum Walsh will face Carlos OCampo in the main event at The Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Walsh, who has been managed by White for several years is thought to be an up and coming prospect. Walsh is 11-0 and last fought on the undercard of the Canelo-Crawford fight this past September.

Ocampo is a 30 years old and last fought in October, a win over Ricardo Banuelas Cernas. Ocampo is 38-3 according to BoxRec with his notable losses against Errol Spence, Jr., Sebastian Fundora and Tim Tszyu.
