Mark Kerr, the mixed martial arts fighter portrayed by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the upcoming film “The Smashing Machine” has signed with Innovative Artists for representation.
The movie is gaining buzz ahead of its theatrical release. The movie debuted at the Venice International Film Festival to a standing ovation for Johnson.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that Kerr will be represented by Innovative Artists for acting opportunities, endorsements, licensing, speaking appearances and merchandising.
This past June, Kerr was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame, Pioneer Wing.
Payout Perspective:
It is nice to see Kerr reap the benefit from his hard path in fighting. Hopefully, Kerr will be able to garner some work based on the promotion of the film
