UFC Noche took place Saturday afternoon in San Antonio. The promotion gave out bonuses and the main event earned both Performance of the Night and Fight of the Night.
Jean Silva and Diego Lopes put on a fight of the year candidate with Lopes earning the stoppage. There was some controversy to the event as Silva took a shot at Lopes after the fight which seemed to be due to the belief that he was hit in the back of the head several times which likely lead to the stoppage. Regardless, the fight was all action and deserved the double bonus for each.
The other $50K performance bonus went to Santiago Luna who knocked out Quang Le.
The event drew a reported attendance at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio drew 18,005 and a live gate of $3,586,669.
