July 16, 2025 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

MPO has obtained the official Box Office report from the California State Athletic Commission for the June 28th event featuring Jake Paul taking on Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr.

Per the official report, the event drew 15,547 fans for an official gate of $1,575,758.54.

The event promoted by Golden Boy Promotions and Jake Paul’s MVP took place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Paul soundly defeated JCC.

As we now know, JCC was arrested by ICE the following week and is being processed to be deported to Mexico.

The reported gate of over $1.5M is based on gross receipts. If you factor in the required Live Gate Fee, Pension Fund Assessment and Neurological Assessment Fees the net gate was $87,327.32.
