White appointed Official Advisor to VeChain Blockchain

April 14, 2025 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Official UFC sponsor, VeChain, has appointed Dana White as an Official Advisor to consult on the use of Blockchain technology.

The UFC press release states that Dana will join “Nobel Prize-winning physicist Sir Konstantin Novoselov on VeChain’s advisory board to create a team focused on driving real-world blockchain adoption through complementary expertise in mass marketing and scientific innovation.” Notably, Novoselov does not know where is his Nobel Prize medal.

This is the second appointment to a role within a company for which the UFC does business. White was appointed to the board of Meta earlier this year.

Payout Perspective:

White’s contribution to the board will be based on the “mass marketing” part of the equation for VeChain. It is interesting to see the co-mingling of White with his company’s business partners. Obviously, this means that VeChain and Meta will be with the UFC for some time to come but White is positioning himself as a “thought leader” in these areas. Something that most people would not have thought would happen even 10 years ago.
