Ad inventory “sold out” for WWE Raw on Netflix

March 10, 2025 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The invention of ads on streaming services seems to be the antithesis of purchasing a streaming service. However, this is the new model and Netflix has “sold out” of its ad inventory for WWE’s Raw live programming on Monday nights.

The “sold out” comes with quotation marks because the benchmark is only that of the streamer. The ads appear just like commercial breaks during the 2 plus hour broadcasts on Monday nights.

WWE moved its flagship weekly telecasts to Netflix at the beginning of the year and it seems to be a success. This Monday is a big night since it is the first return of the show to New York’s Madison Square Garden. Hyping this up as a bigger than usual Monday night with Snickers, Cricket Wireless, Intuit TurboTax, Wingstop, MinuteMaid and more appearing tonight on the stream per AdWeek.

TurboTax will have “its first global custom campaign” created for WWE as it unveils its “Now This is Taxes” brand campaign during the broadcast.
