UFC secures Verizon’s Total Wireless as latest sponsor

January 15, 2025 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

This past weekend at UFC Vegas you may have seen a Total Wireless logo on the Octagon map. This was foreshadowing for the announcement on Wednesday that is now the Official Wireless Provider of the UFC.

Total Wireless is the prepaid cell service of Verizon. The deal is for one year, plus options. Official activation begins with UFC 311 on Saturday. The deal encompasses domestic rights and will include “octagon branding, programing integration including title sponsorship of the “Fighter Walkouts” and custom content along with digital and social media inventory” per Sports Business Journal. UFC athletes may have the opportunity to be a “Brand Ambassador” for Total Wireless.

The sponsorship for Total Wireless hopes to capitalize on the UFC’s younger male demo for its prepaid phones. The last wireless sponsor for the UFC was MetroPCS which was the UFC sponsor for most of the 2010s.
