UFC on ESPN 61 was a hard watch to begin with but with many of the fights going to decision it was harder. The UFC awarded just 3 bonuses on the night.
Youssef Zalal, Toshiomi Kazama and Serghei Spivac all won the $50K bonuses for the night. There was no fight of the night. Spivac, who submitted Marcin Tybura in the first round of their feature bout.
The lack of a fourth bonus winner may have been indicative of the lack of highlights on the card. The event did not have any huge names on the card and lacked any highlight reel stoppages.
