UFC 203 Prelims draw 1.06M viewers average

The UFC 203 Prelims drew 1.06 million viewers on ESPN Saturday night per Sports Media Watch. The early prelims drew 665,000 viewers on ESPN.

The early prelims started 12 minutes late due to NWSL soccer. It drew 0.26 in the A18-49 category. The two hour early prelims seeped over into the regular prelims. The early prelims were highlighted by the Gillian Robertson and Michelle Waterson-Gomez fight. It was the retirement match for the “Karate Hottie” as she received a nice video tribute package.

The prelims featured Joe Pyfer taking on Marc-Andre Barriault in a battle of middleweights. Pyfer took the win with a first round KO and later on received a $50K Performance Bonus for his efforts.

This past Saturday drew better than the past two PPV prelims. UFC 3000 drew 1.864M viewers and its early prelims drew 687K viewers.
