Jake Paul launches W

June 12, 2024 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Jake Paul is launching a men’s personal care line dubbed, “W” which will be sold exclusively in Walmart stores, Walmart.com and GetW.com.

Short for “win,” W is a men’s body care line including body wash, body spray and antiperspirant deodorant. Five more are on the way including shampoo, soap and hair care products.

The personal care line is in partnership with Geoffrey Woo and Woodie Hillyard with strategic advisor Nakisa Bidarian. Notably, the products will be affordable according to the article all of Paul’s products will be under $10 and made in the United States.

Jake Paul launches W, the men’s personal care brand made to smell great and designed to work harder.

Payout Perspective:

The natural progression of a “media personality” is to expand into areas where they can profit. Paul’s W body care line is just that. It is not a luxury product with a high price tag but an affordable one that many can access. Certainly, selling them exclusively to Walmart indicates he’s looking for volume of sales rather than exclusivity. I couldn’t speak to the quality of the product but if it still on the shelves by the end of next year, it will be a success.
