UFC 301 attendance and bonuses

UFC 301 took place on Saturday night in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. While Alexandre Pantoja successfully defended his flyweight title, it was Jose Aldo’s return to the Octagon that got the fans excited.

Attendance in Rio drew 14,4514 per the post-fight press conference. It was the 40th time for the company in Brazil and the 12th time in Rio.

The Fight of the Night bonuses went to Caio Borralho, Mauricio Ruffy, Michel Pereira and Alessandro Costa. Each received $50,000 bonuses.

The fans were electric for the return of Jose Aldo who looked like he was in his prime in defeating Jonathan Martinez.
