Hostage Tape was name the Official Sleep Aid Partner of the UFC per a press release late last week. The company notes it is “a leading sleep aid company.” It will be a part of the sponsorship roster for the company and is currently presenting UFC 300’s Tale of the Tape.
According to the press release it will receive global exclusivity in several product categories, including mouth tape, nose strips, and sleep masks. Its the first time the UFC has opened up this category.
The product is what you think it is from the name, a tape that goes over your mouth while sleeping. While this sounds odd, it is. In the new market of unique health aids such as cold plunges and red light therapy.
