UFC 299 Prelims on ESPN draw 1.48M viewers

The UFC 299 Prelims on ESPN drew 1.48 million viewers per Sports Media Watch. It drew 748,000 viewers in the A18-49 demo.

The telecast had the largest single-network UFC audience since the UFC 272 prelims which also had the UNC-Duke game as a lead-in. This time around the UNC-Duke game drew 3.076 million viewers. In March 2022, for the UFC 272 prelims it drew 3.98 million viewers.

ESPN2 had the full broadcast in light of the anticipated run over.

The telecast featured Curtis Blaydes stopping Jailton Almeida in the second round of their matchup. Blaydes received a $50K fight bonus for his work.

The main event featured Sean O’Malley as he defeated Marlon Vera to retain his bantamweight title.
