John Laurinaitis flips on Vince McMahon

February 2, 2024 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

According to co-defendant John Laurinaitis’ attorney, he denies the allegations in the Janel Grant complaint and implied that he was a victim. Grant filed a lawsuit against McMahon, Laurinaitis and WWE claiming that she was the victim of sexual assault and sexual trafficking.

In an article on Vice.com, Tim Marchman spoke with Laurinaitis’ attorney Edward Brennan who stated:

“Mr. Laurinaitis denies the allegations in the misguided complaint and will be vigorously defending these charges in Court, not the media. Like the Plaintiff, Mr. Laurinaitis is a victim in this case, not a predator. The truth will come out.”

Vice

McMahon has issued a statement denying the allegations in the Complaint filed last week.

Grant’s lawsuit claims that McMahon instructed Grant to create “explicit content” for Laurinaitis and arranged a threesome between them. Laurinaitis’ attorney claims that McMahon exerted power, control and “dictatorial sexual demands with repercussions.”

So it looks as thought Laurinaitis will be testifying against McMahon in this lawsuit in what will surely be a volatile and messy dispute which will likely implicate WWE while both were working for the company.

In addition to this news, the WSJ has a report out that the search warrant executed in July 2023 against Vince McMahon was for his phone and the subpoena was for “documents related to any allegation of ‘rape, sex trafficking, sexual assault, commercial sex transaction, harassment or discrimination’ against current or former WWE employees.”

The lawsuit appears to gaining traction and McMahon is facing legal liability and now the potential for criminal charges. MPO will continue to follow.
