Powerslap approved in California

December 9, 2023 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Dana White sent a message by social media that the California State Athletic Commission has unanimously approved the regulation of power slap.

A meeting was held on Saturday to discuss the regulation of the newfound sport of Dana White. California State Athletic Commission executive officer Andy Foster endorsed Power Slap. He indicated in documents obtained by Bloody Elbow that there were less “medical transportations” than that of an MMA event.

Bloody Elbow noted that a possible reason to regulate power slap is because the agency is lacking funds.

Only Nevada has held slap fight events although Zuffa is looking to expand.
