Jake Paul’s Betr opens fantasy sports game

July 31, 2023 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

At the start of his fight week against Nathan Diaz, Jake Paul and cofounder Joey Levy have launched a real money fantasy sports platform, Betr Picks. California and Florida are among the 24 jurisdictions that can access the new platform where you can bet on sports for real money.

As part of the Betr Picks launch, the platform is offering a free-to-play game for the Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz bout on Aug. 5 in Dallas, Texas. The picks game, which ends on fight day, gives entrants the chance to win a share of up to $1 million in prizes.

According to Covers.com, the company completed a $35 million Series A2 funding round, which valued the company at roughly $300 million. The round included Levy, Paul, and Fuel Venture Capital. The new funding comes after Betr raised around $50 million in 2022.

The site will cover NFL, NBA and NHL. Users will be able to bet without the use of points spread on the site. Sportico reports Betr Picks allows users to build a bet line-up with as few as two and as many as eight picks, with the ability to win 100 times one’s original bet if correctly picking all eight picks, according to a webpage for the beta version of Betr Picks.
