UFC on ABC 5 bonuses

June 24, 2023 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC on ABC 5 took place Saturday afternoon in Jacksonville, Florida. The main event drew the FIght of the Night as Illia Topuria continues to clime up the Featherweight ranks.

Topuria scored a unanimous decision victory over Josh Emmett. Topuria’s striking in the fight outlassed the veteran Emmert.

Also receiving bonuses were David Onama with a KO of Gabriel Santos in the second round. Onama took a page out of Israel Adesanya’s last celebration in the Octagon. Maycee Barber scored a stoppage over Amanda Ribas in the second round and solidified herself as a contender in the flyweight division. If not for Topuria’s performance, this should have been the fight of the night.
