TUF 31 episode 3 down to 222K

June 17, 2023 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The Ultimate Fighter Episode 3 drew 222,000 viewers on Tuesday night on ESPN per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.  The telecast placed 88th overall and drew 0.07 household rating.

The show aired prior to the news that Conor McGregor was being accused of rape during Sunday’s NBA Finals game in Miami.

The ratings for the return of the show have not come with the ratings bump one would have thought with the return of McGregor would have bolstered viewership.  Yet, episode 3, which was offered to those purchasing UFC 289 early on Saturday, did worse than episode 2.

Episode 2  drew 274,000 viewers while the debut episode 294,000 viewers.

We may see another decrease with the news of McGregor’s latest legal issues.
