TUF 31 Episodes 1-2 ratings

June 12, 2023 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The Ultimate Fighter returned to cable television with the return of Conor McGregor as one of its coaches. He returns to coach against Michael Chandler and the ratings have been off to a steady pace on ESPN.

The debut episode drew 294K viewers and finished 11th overall in cable. The episode drew 0.14 in the 18-49 category, 0.06 F18-49, 0.21 M18-49, 0.09 18-34, 0.03 F12-34, 0.11 M12-34, 0.15 25-54 and 0.09 in the over 50 category.

The second episode drew 274K viewers and finished 22nd overall in cable. The telecast drew 0.11 in the 18-49 demo, 0.04 F18-49, 0.19 M18-49, 0.08 18-34, 0.02 F12-34, 0.11 M12-34, 0.13 25-54 and 0.09 in the over 50 category.

Payout Perspective:

The last time that TUF appeared on cable television was for TUF 28 when it appeared on FS1 in 2018. TUFs 29-30 aired on ESPN+ and was not on cable. With McGregor’s return, the UFC and ESPN hope that ratings would increase viewership. It has not thus far having averaged about the same as the last time it aired on cable in 2018.
